post the request on our site to help spread the word throughout
the local fashion community involved with fashionWEEK.

Hair
& beauty professionals can contact us at

to be a part of the fashionWEEK
H&B Team (Hair & Beauty). This team will
help to provide this growing network of stylists and artists with
direct access to opportunities to get involved and a central
communication system. This will also allow individuals from the
many different salons and studios throughout Boston and beyond to
work together creatively as part of what has become a Boston
fashion tradition. The chairperson heading up this initiative for
2003 will be Daniel Hernandez of DH Studios on Newbury Street in
Boston.

Models
may contact us by mail including their composite cards, or a clear
photo with stats and contact information. We can then share this
information with designers who are looking for models. Please
note, photographs will not be returned.

Attention: Model Submissions
If a model is planning
ahead they should consider submitting an application to be
considered for modelBOSTON. There is no fee to participate in modelBOSTON and
it is not a contest or beauty pageant.
It is a program to discover new faces providing them with
the opportunities to learn important standards of modeling from
industry professionals through a series of workshops scheduled
throughout the summer. During
Boston’s annual fashionWEEK events, the modelBOSTON team is
introduced to the public, the media and leading agencies.

and individuals who are interested in supporting fashionWEEK
efforts by sponsoring events or making their resources available
in any capacity can contact Lisa Baker at the Boston Event Guide.
The Boston Event Guide is currently serving as
a primary marketing representative and a lead media sponsor of
fashionWEEK Boston 2003.
They
will help to market fashionWEEK Boston by
creating sponsorship
packages, increasing publicity and awareness for fashionWEEK
BOSTON through numerous media outlets, new strategic partnerships
and sponsors.
