NOTE:
Due to an overwhelming amount of requests for internships we
have no positions available for this calendar year (2003).
We will be contacting recent applicants and future requests
for internships in 2004 for fashionWEEK's 10th
anniversary.
Internships
are available throughout the calendar year during three
cycles:
Cycle
I: February - March - April
Cycle
II: June - July - August
Cycle
III: September - October - November
As
interns will be representing fashionWEEK BOSTON they are
expected to exhibit the following qualities: Self-motivated,
personable, well groomed, professional and responsible.
Requirements:
Minimum
of two 4-hour shifts per week.
Minimum
three month commitment.
NOTE:
We recommend that individuals interested in an internship
explore the fashionWEEK BOSTON website to familiarize
themselves with the organization's history and mission.
Interns
receive a letter of recommendation based on their
performance.
Students
who are enrolled in a related field of study receive an
evaluation letter for grading purposes.
All
requests for internship must include a cover letter and a
current resume. Also include at least one
academic/professional reference. Please specify which cycle
you are interested in.
