Vision Council is assembled each year to assist in
implementing the directives of fashionWEEK BOSTON.
Individuals from many areas of the community are
invited in order to achieve a broad perspective. The
Vision Council is made up of two branches: the
General Council and the Executive Council.
The
grass roots efforts of fashionWEEK BOSTON are unique
in that they focus on education, community service
and the art of fashion in addition the economics of
nurturing new talent in the area. Adding a new
dimension to how fashion is taught, motivating the
fashion industry to have a stronger community
mentality and fostering the appreciation of the art
form that fuels the business of this industry, are
crucial elements to growth. Changing the public’s
perception of and access to fashion is a way of the
future.
